We would like to give a few important aspects of a CV. Most of the time a Job Seeker prepares a CV thinking to make it bigger. This may be a mistake from the employer's view point. A CV should be Clear and Crispy.
- Font and Spacing matters a lot. Make sure you are NOT using Compact or More Spacing. Use Profession fonts.
- Study Job Description carefully and prepare accordingly. Most of the time you prepare one resume and will be using it for all the jobs. Identify the Skills and Key Points the employer is looking for and prepare accordingly highlighting the employers need.
- Use most relevant information and clearly mention the Certifications or Skill you acquired along with the month and year of examination. This plays a vital role in getting you the interview call.
- See whether the Job is Full time or C2H. Never discuss Full time when applying for C2H. This sometimes gives a wrong impression that you may not stick to the job.
- See that the whole resume is maintained with common margins. Try to adjust the matter without leaving lot of space in the last page. Common error is that most resumes will have 4 or 5 lines in the last page.
- Final Touch or Proof Reading is most critical as common grammatical errors will run while writing. Proof Reading will help you correct these errors. This will also helps you in fine tuning your resume with relevant information missing.
